This brings back so many memories but I'd really love to see you play MCF Dire Grove. That used to be one of my favorites and I haven't played in or seen it in years.
5th of November in the UK is bonfire night. Other names are Guy Fawkes night and Fireworks night. It's to celebrate our parliament not getting blown up. Guy Fawkes had gathered tons of gunpowder and had placed it all under the houses of parliament in the hope of destroying the building and the MPs that were having a meeting at the time. Luckily his plan got foiled and that is why we celebrate. Its actually quite comical how his plan failed and I do recommend that you all look it up. It's some proper weird British history. 💗💗🤣
I just noticed i have the exact same necklace as Aisling. (The chain is different but the hanging this is the exact same) and nobody can tell me what it is or what it means. 😂
Everything in the recipe looks edible so I wonder if that recipe can be reenacted. The game had a lot of folk lore that I was able to recognize so maybe they did research on her recipe too. Grape, Pine cone jelly, rose, and the spices. The spices were anise, Cinnamon, and I don't know the yellow or green
I love how dutch and german (my native language) are very similar <3 In german nettle is Brennnessel (basically Brenn = burn or burning/stinging and Nessel = nettle) :3 I've noticed that dutch, swedish, finnish, and german are very similar languages. One time, I watched a movie in swedish (a friend of mine is trying to learn swedish so she watches a lot of movies in that language and I joined her) and I managed to understand about 30-40% of it without speaking one word swedish xD But yes, I do get what you mean: There are some things you never really use when you're not speaking your first language.
Anyway: I love your content and you made me fall in love with HOGs, so thank you so so much <3 I hope you have a wonderful day :3
I gotta say Gab, I’m really glad you do hidden object games! A fan of them myself, some of them can pretty damn good! Have you thought of doing different types of a hidden object game? Like Secret Society? Where do you get your hidden object games, Big Fish? G5?
Aisling is an Irish name. Ash-ling is how to pronounce it. You can tell its irish from the fact it has letters that you wouldnt usually put together hahaha. Banshee is from Irish myth as well, Bean Sídh – Fairy Woman (ish) Female spirited that if heard wailing is a sign that one of her relatives is about to die. I also find it interesting that Aisling looks like Hibernia, Hibernia is a very old name for what is now Ireland but Hibernia is personified in paintings as a redhaired woman usually standing in nature with a green dress on.
Haven't played MCF for a while the last one I played was Shadow Lake.. I wonder what happened to this franchise graphic's not photorealistic anymore which I always prefer.. it's like a downgrade
Aisling is an Irish name. No one except americans call irish "gaelic". The irish for Irish is Gaeilge though which is probably where they got it from. XD
Yay HOG time!
hey Gab can u check out the Cube escape/rusty lake games please? i think u'd like them!
